GRAND PRIZE WINNER
A note from Flea
It's Flea here. Want to win a 1-hour bass lesson with me? I'll teach you as much as I can, and you can channel your inner rock star and play some music with me!
If you do, you'll get roundtrip flights from anywhere in the world and hotel accommodations for you and a friend to meet up with me. We'll jam together and have a great time.
Are you in? All you have to do is join the movement. Join Special Olympics in their work to open hearts and minds, and foster the acceptance and inclusion of all people. YOU can be part of that. More on what they do over on the right!
I put together some signed stuff for you too, so if you're into that, please take a look below. The more you donate, the higher your chances of winning. You can earn entries by sharing the campaign too, so please share it on social media, via e-mail or text, in person, whatever works for you!
Thank you - I'll see one of you soon!
About Special Olympics
The Special Olympics mission remains as vital today as it did when the movement was founded in 1968. Special Olympics strives to create a better world by fostering the acceptance and inclusion of all people. Using sports as the catalyst and programming around health and education, Special Olympics is fighting inactivity, injustice and intolerance.
Through the power of sports, people with intellectual disabilities discover new strengths and abilities, skills and success. Our athletes find joy, confidence and fulfillment -- on the playing field and in life. They also inspire people in their communities and elsewhere to open their hearts to a wider world of human talents and potential.
There are nearly 200 million people with intellectual disabilities around the world. We are only reaching about 2 percent of this population – we currently serve 4.4 million athletes around the world. Our goal is to reach out to every one of them – and their families as well. Special Olympics does this through a wide range of trainings, competitions, health screenings and fund-raising events. We also create opportunities for families, community members, local leaders, businesses, law enforcement, celebrities, dignitaries and others to band together to change attitudes and support athletes.
