I'm super excited to announce that I'll once again be celebrating my birthday raising awareness for The Trevor Project. Last year we raised over $500,000 and this year I think #TeamInternet can do it again! For me, it's important to help The Trevor Project every year for my birthday, in hope that we can help others live to celebrate more of their birthdays.
For just a small donation to The Trevor Project you will be entered to win the opportunity for you and a friend to be flown to Anaheim, California to attend VidCon 2015 and have a special hangout session with yours truly. Hotel accommodations are also included.
Throughout the campaign I'll be hosting a series of livestreams with Q&As, special guests, gossip sessions, and I'll even be calling donors live on camera. Follow my Twitter (@tyleroakley) for exact times for each week's livestream.
Can't wait to help save lives with all of y’all once again. Hope you get involved.

The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.
Hundreds of thousands of young people in crisis have reached out to The Trevor Project’s multiple in-person and online life-saving, life-affirming resources--Trevor Lifeline, TrevorChat, TrevorSpace, Ask Trevor and Trevor Education Workshops.
I first got involved with The Trevor Project as an intern back in 2010, where I learned about all the amazing ways they help save lives. I helped redesign the website, launched a blogger outreach system, and drafted press releases and fundraising newsletters.
Since then, I've been able to use my YouTube platform to help shine light on the cause, by both raising money every year for my birthday with YOU GUYS, as well as hosting the red carpet live-stream for their annual fundraising gala, Trevor Live. Because of this, The Trevor Project honored our community with the Trevor Youth Innovator Award. I am honored to be able to help in any way with their growth, and am amazed that y'all are as passionate about saving lives as I am. Thank you for your support!
